The Feelings Program

Are you looking for a way to help your child manage their emotions and develop problem solving skills?

The Feelings Program is an engaging, research-backed program designed to support autistic children and adolescents in understanding emotions, handling challenges, and improving social communications.

The Program Covers:

​

  • Module 1: Understanding Emotions - learning to identify and express feelings

  • Module 2: Problem solving and perspective taking - develop strategies for handling challenges

  • Module 3: Managing Emotions - learning self-regulation techniques 

​

Each module includes:​

  • 6 sessions for children (1.5hrs each)

  • 1-2 pre-recorded sessions for parents

  • 1-2  pre-recorded sessions for teachers

  • Progress summary report (1 page)

  • Child, Parent, and Teacher Workbooks

​

Each session:​

  • Structured learning, role plays, and age appropriate games in each session

  • Weekly "takeaway" tasks to practice at home

​​

​

Online and In-Person Groups available! Groups are matched on age and interests to support engagement.

Eligibility

​

Children or young adolescents aged 8-16 years of age with a previous or suspected diagnosis of autism.

Enrolment

​

An initial consultation a the term prior to start date is required to assess suitability and eligibility for the group.

Cost

​

Initial Consultation - $300

Module 1 - $1325

Module 2 - $1165

Module 3 - $1165

​

NDIS Self Managed and Plan Managed clients may be eligible to utilise funding for this group.
